World of fascinating patterns
Hanna Werning’s work stretches from visual arts, illustration and communication design to product design. She has a unique skill to create patterns and most of her projects usually include one pattern or more.
Werning is educated at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in London. After working ten years as a graphic designer for design agencies both in Stockholm and London she set up her own practise back in Sweden in 2004.
She works independently and internationally and has designed wallpapers, textile, porcelain, glassware, stationary, sliding doors, shower screens, rugs, light-mirrors and much more for brands such as Boråstapeter, Elfa, Rörstrand, IKEA, Lagom Design, Lightab, Bookbinders Design, Eastpak, In The Room and for fashion prints such as Anna Sui, House of Dagmar and Boxfresh. From time to time Werning also lectures and teaches. Her work is represented at Nationalmuseum in Stockholm.
